Abstract
This community service activity was motivated by the obstacles faced related to halal certification of products, especially the lack of understanding of micro-entrepreneurs in Majakerta Village, Pemalang, regarding the procedures for applying for halal certification and labeling of their products. In fact, the implementation of halal certificates and halal labels is a manifestation of the fulfillment of consumer rights to obtain the products they choose. This activity uses the service learning method in the form of socialization and follow-up assistance for halal product registration. From the results of the activity, a picture of the increase in insight and experience was obtained and it is hoped that it can increase productivity and competitiveness for micro-entrepreneurs in Majakerta Village, Watukumpul District, Pemalang Regency. With the assistance of the halal certification and labeling process, the problem of how to apply for a halal certificate which is considered difficult can be resolved and become a prime example for other micro-entrepreneurs.
