Author Guidelines

General Guidelines

Manuscript submitted to Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any publication at the same time. We are especially interested in research, critical thinking and theoretical exploration related to management, accounting and business topics. Manuscripts accepted is written in Bahasa Indonesia. All authors of a manuscript should include their full name and affiliation(s). One author should be identified as the corresponding author. He/she must include an email address. Please note that once published, your email address will normally be displayed in the article permanently. Maximum plagiarism of manuscripts submitted is 30%.

Article Components

Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title; abstract; keywords; main text (consist of introduction; method; results and discussion; conclusion); references.

Title and Abstract. 

The title and the abstract are key elements that inform the reader of the contents of the manuscript. Given the title’s prominence, authors should exercise thought and creativity in selecting a title that will capture the reader’s attention and clearly inform the reader of the contents within. Similarly, the abstract is read by far more readers than is the average article. The abstract serves important purposes in summarizing the hypothesis, design, and findings of the study and in representing the article in indexing databases. The abstract contains an introduction, method, results, and discussion. The abstract should not more than 250 words, 3-5 keywords  

Introduction.

A strong introduction engages the reader in the problem of interest and provides a context for the study at hand. The introduction contains the background of the research carried out, theoretical basis, novelty of the research, findings and objectives. Writing preliminary studies, literature studies/literature reviews and others must be written sequentially according to the flow of the process carried out including citations, number of paragraphs 5-7 paragraphs (3-5 sentences per paragraph), the first paragraph contains the general problem, the second paragraph the problem to be resolved Next 3-5 paragraphs (solutions, previous research/case studies). Methods. 

Research methods consist of data type, population, sample, place, time of research, sampling techniques, data collection techniques, data analysis techniques. It is best to use narrative/descriptive sentences in paragraph form in this section systematically. (Times New Roman, point 11, Space 1)

Results and Discussion. 

This section consists of a presentation of the results of the research that has been carried out. The use of tables/figures is only as support to clarify the discussion and is limited to truly substantial support, for example tables of statistical test results, images of model test results. The discussion contains the meaning of the results of the analysis and comparison with similar theories and/or research results. (Times New Roman, point 11, Space 1)

Conclusion. 

This section consists of (conclusions and research limitations). Conclusions are written in paragraph form with numerical results and narrated. Conclusions should be an answer to the research objectives, while limitations in research are obstacles obtained in the research process.

Acknowledgement (If any)

Tables and Figures. 

All included tables must be referenced in the main text and the table title must be positioned above the table. The table is written in Times New Roman point 9 and spacing is 1. Inserted images must be referenced in the text and entered separately as .jpg, .jpeg or .png files. Image descriptions should be placed below the image and written in Times New Roman point 9 font.

References. 

In the references section, only include previous works that cited in the text. References should be cited in the text according to American Psychological Association (APA) Format. The reference list should include every work cited in the text. Please ensure that dates, spelling, and title used in the text are consistent with those listed in the references. Please use Reference Manager Applications Like Mendeley, etc. References consist of 20% from books and 80% from journals.
